| Lobbying and Promotion | |
 One of the Association of Microfinance Institutions in BiH (AMFI) core activities is lobbying. The main targets for lobbying are government, donors and commercial players, in that order. AMFI lobbies at national level and local government level as well as MCO and client level. The most important areas of lobbying are the new regulatory framework for MCOs and promoting microfinance itself.
Other activities include dinners and cocktail parties with influential policymakers, workshops for members to prepare and provide them with arguments for important discussions, and workshops for politicians serving for information, promotion and lobbying.
